Rain was seen in Delhi-NCR since morning. Roads were flooded in many areas due to rain. The Meteorological Department has issued a three-day yellow alert for rain in Delhi-NCR. Traffic was affected in many areas due to rain and waterlogging. Long queues of vehicles were seen due to jam on Akshardham to Sarai Kalekhan road. People were stuck in traffic jam for hours due to rain.

The weather in Delhi-NCR changed yesterday afternoon. The weather became pleasant due to cloudy skies and heavy humid winds. People got relief from heat and humidity due to cloudy weather and strong wind. After the rain stopped, people started trying to leave in a hurry, leading to heavy traffic jams at many places.

Long traffic jam after rain

Due to rain in different areas of Delhi, people had to face a lot of trouble. At ITO, DND, Ashram and Ring Road, people also faced heavy traffic jam problem. People were stuck in traffic jams in these areas for hours. The sky remained cloudy since Tuesday morning. In the afternoon the humidity level increased due to sometimes sun and sometimes clouds. After which people got relief from rain in many areas in the evening.

Cloudy weather will remain for three days

Many areas of NCR including Delhi received rain since Wednesday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR will remain cloudy for one to two days with moderate to heavy rain likely.
