A shocking incident of theft has come to light in Delhi’s Lakshmi Nagar. Here the thieves stole a couple’s car, but there were two children in the car. After about three hours of effort, the police found the vehicle and the two children were also rescued safely. The entire incident took place outside Heera Sweets on Vikas Marg in Lakshmi Nagar.
In fact, on Friday night, a couple went to buy sweets inside Heera Sweets on Vikas Marg in Lakshmi Nagar and left their two children outside in the car. By the time he came out, the car thieves had fled with the children in the car. As soon as the couple came out, there was chaos. After this, the police were informed and they searched for the vehicle for 3 hours, chased it and recovered the vehicle and the children safely.

In this case, the Delhi Police received information at 10:30 pm on Friday that a kidnapper had stolen a car parked on the side of the road and fled with two children in the car. There was an 11-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy. As soon as the police received the information, the staff of the entire East district were activated and the car was tracked using its GPRS location. 20 vehicles of Delhi Police surrounded the car from different directions and after about 3 hours the car was found safe with the children from Samaypur Badli.
Husband and wife went to buy sweets
According to the police, the family, a resident of Faridabad, came to a Shiv Tikki shop in Kadkaduma, Delhi, and then the husband and wife went to buy Heera Sweet Mithai from there. Meanwhile, the duo parked their Eco Sports car on the roadside with the children in the car and went to Hira Sweets, but when they came out five minutes later, both their car and bike were missing. The kidnapper asked to take the car to the parking lot and sat in the car, then threatened the children with a weapon and demanded a ransom of 50 lakhs by taking the father’s number.
The police have seized the car and the children
The police also picked up the kidnapper’s number on surveillance and his location became available to the police, after which around 20 police vehicles chased him for 200 km and recovered the children and the vehicle safely. Police say that the children’s father was also with them during this operation. The kidnappers left the car and fled after seeing the police but their CCTV footage is with the police and the police are claiming to nab them soon.
