Atishi will be the new Chief Minister of Delhi
Future Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has thanked AAP National Coordinator Arvind Kejriwal for electing him as the leader of the legislative party. Expressing his gratitude, Atishi said that there is only one Chief Minister of Delhi and his name is Arvind Kejriwal. Targeting the BJP, he said that no stone was left unturned to harass and conspire against them for the past two years. An honest man was imprisoned for six months on false charges of corruption.
He said that after getting bail from the Supreme Court, he has decided to resign and go to the Janata Court. Kejriwal said that only when the people of Delhi say that he is honest, he will sit on the chief minister’s chair. We will not find such a sacrifice in history. The people of Delhi are saddened by his resignation and want to see his son as the Chief Minister again at the earliest.
I come from an ordinary family – Atishi
Cabinet Minister Atishi was addressing the media after being elected as the leader of Aam Aadmi Party’s legislative party. Meanwhile, AAP’s National General Secretary Association and MP Dr. Sandeep Pathak, Delhi State Convener and Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai, MLA Dilip Pandey, Sanjeev Jha and other senior leaders were also present. He said that for the first time a politician can become the Chief Minister of the state only under the leadership of Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal. I come from a normal family. If I had joined any other party, I might not have even got an election ticket, but Arvind Kejriwal believed in me. I was made an MLA, then a minister and today I have been entrusted with the responsibility of becoming the Chief Minister.
Trust me but feel sad
Atishi said that I am happy that Arvind Kejriwal has so much faith in me, but my heart is also sad today. My elder brother Arvind Kejriwal is resigning today. On behalf of two crore people of Delhi, I want to say that there is only one Chief Minister of Delhi and his name is Arvind Kejriwal. A man who could quit his IRS job, a man who could contest elections from a new political party for the first time and resign as Chief Minister, such an honest man was accused of corruption, false and fabricated cases were filed.
Atishi cited the SC decision
Atishi said that the Supreme Court has not only granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal, but the court has also exposed the BJP’s tactics. The court said that central government agencies are like caged parrots and the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal is wrong. If Arvind Kejriwal had been replaced by any other Chief Minister or leader, he would not have thought for two minutes before sitting on the Chief Minister’s chair, but what Arvind Kejriwal has done has never happened in the history of the country or the entire world.
People across Delhi are unhappy with the resignation.
Atishi said that the entire Delhi people are saddened by Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation. On Monday evening, I met an elderly woman who started crying when she got the news that Kejriwal was resigning. He said that Kejriwal is like his son. The old woman said that she will go door to door to tell people that she wants to make her son the chief minister. Today all the people of Delhi are very upset.
Kejriwal gave free electricity
Atishi said that people know that Arvind Kejriwal is an honest person, due to which he gets free electricity. They know that if an honest person like Arvind Kejriwal is not the Chief Minister, they will stop getting free electricity, their children’s government schools will deteriorate, better treatment and free medicines in government hospitals, Mohalla clinics, free bus travel. Free travel for women and elderly will be stopped.
He said BJP is in power in 22 states and in none of their states they have free electricity, good schools, hospitals, mohalla clinics and free bus travel for women. On one side is the honest Arvind Kejriwal, who gives a lot to the people of Delhi. People of Delhi, together with Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, I will work with a single objective as the Chief Minister till the assembly elections, that we make Arvind Kejriwal the Chief Minister of Delhi again.
