Atishi, Finance Minister, Government of Delhi

Delhi minister and AAP party leader Atishi said today was a historic day in politics. There will be no leader in the history of India who has shown such courage. He went among the people and said that if he is honest then he should vote and if he is not honest then he should not vote. Atishi said this in a press conference organized after the announcement of Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation. He demanded the Election Commission to hold the Delhi elections in November.

He said that there is no need to dissolve the assembly to hold elections in Delhi, as only six months are left. He said that how long the Delhi government will last will depend on the Election Commission’s announcement as to when the Election Commission announces the elections.

Atishi said that Arvind Kejriwal started his fight against corruption by quitting the IRS job. As he could not bring anti-corruption law, he had earlier resigned from the post of CM.

He said that Arvind Kejriwal cannot tolerate corruption charges. He said that thousands of raids have taken place in the last two years. In the last two years, we have not been able to recover even a single rupee of corruption from any Aam Aadmi Party leader.

He said that the Supreme Court slapped the BJP and its agency. Said he is like a caged parrot, so only the owner can speak.
