Firefighters trying to drain water from basement of Delhi Coaching Centre
The Delhi Fire Service has now released a statement after three students died due to waterlogging in the basement of a prestigious coaching institute located in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg blamed the iron gate installed in the coaching center for the accident. He said that this gate was installed to stop water flowing on the road. Due to the pressure of a truck passing on the road, this gate broke and all the water flowing on the road began to fall into the basement.
The discussion has gained momentum on this statement of the Director of Delhi Fire Service. The question is that the truck went off the road, but the coaching center was some distance from the road. In such a situation, how did the iron gate installed inside the coaching center break? However, the director said that this is a possibility. The cause of the incident is being investigated. In fact, the Delhi Fire Service itself has come under suspicion following this tragedy. According to fire service rules, such activities cannot be allowed in the basement.
How fire service gave NOC?
However, regular classes were being conducted in the basement of the coaching centre. In such a situation, the question is being raised that how did the Delhi Fire Service give NOC to this coaching center? If not given then the question is how this coaching center was running without fire NOC. Let us tell you that there was heavy rain in Delhi on Saturday. Due to this, heavy flow of water started flowing on the roads in different areas of Delhi. Meanwhile, the drainage system installed in the basement of this prestigious IAS coaching center located in old Rajendra Nagar had malfunctioned.
