Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will reach his parliamentary constituency Lucknow on Wednesday. This visit of the Defense Minister will be for three days. The Defense Minister will reach Lucknow Airport on Wednesday afternoon. From here he would go directly to his residence on the Kalidasa Marg. After this he will participate in a cultural program at Surya Auditorium Cantt at 6 pm.
He will also participate in the Joint Commanders’ Conference to be held on September 5 at 10 am at Surya Conference Hall Kent. After this he will attend a book release program organized at Indira Gandhi Pratisthan Gomti Nagar at 5 pm. The next day i.e. September at 11 am they will attend a meeting organized in a public school, Alambagh.

In this meeting he will also interact with workers of Kent Assembly. After this they will again leave for Delhi. Rajnath Singh’s visit is being made with the objective of speeding up the pace of regional development works in Lucknow, listening to local problems and solving them. During his visit, besides being a part of several important events, he will also discuss the development of his parliamentary constituency with local leadership and activists.
Atalji’s political legacy preserved
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been elected as MP from Lucknow for the third time in a row. This time in the Lok Sabha elections he Samajwadi Party leader K. Ravidas Mehrotra was defeated. With this victory, he has preserved the political legacy of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The seat has been dominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party since Atalji became an MP in 1991.
