The Delhi family succumbed to poverty and left the world
A dead body was lying in the middle of the road and this was written
Even poisoned bread tastes sweet when you are hungry…’
What a beautiful formula has been written by Mr. Bekal Joonshi Sahib… One cannot even imagine the extent to which poverty or compulsion drives a person. It is often seen that a poor person gets nothing but poverty and coercion. He walks in the crowd, gets tired, falls down and walks again… comes home in the evening and covers himself with the same sheet and dreams of a beautiful world that may not come true. It is generally believed that no matter what happens in one’s life, one should not lose hope of living. The day hope is gone, there is nothing left inside a person. Something similar happened to a family in the capital Delhi. His hope was his mother, the day his mother left this world the family fell apart.
A man named Heera Lal committed suicide along with his four daughters in Rangpuri village in Vasant Kunj South of Delhi. According to the police, after the death of his wife, the responsibility of his daughters fell on the shoulders of Hira Lal. Even the daughters could not stand on their own feet. Hira’s four daughters were disabled. When there was a mother, she took the responsibility of the daughters on her shoulders, but after the mother, even the father could not do that. He felt helpless and then took this step, knowing that everyone’s hearts trembled.
The breadwinner has one more responsibility on his shoulders.
Hira’s four daughters were disabled and could not go anywhere. Last Friday, people around the house informed the police about the foul smell coming from Hira Lal’s house. When the police broke the door, everyone lost their senses. Five dead bodies were rotting in the house. Heera and her daughters committed suicide by consuming poison. On receiving the information, the police broke the lock of the flat and took out the body. According to DCP Rohit Meena, the Vasant Kunj South Police has sent the bodies for post-mortem and started the investigation. The family consisted of 18-year-old daughter Neetu, 15-year-old Nishi, 10-year-old Neeru and eight-year-old daughter Nidhi whose mother died of cancer. All four daughters lived with their father.
The mystery of death was revealed by stench
Hira Lal, who worked as a carpenter at the Spinal Injury Hospital in Vasant Kunj, was in charge of taking care of the children. On Friday, Hira Lal’s flat started smelling bad. On this, a person from a house on the other side of the road called the police and reported the stench. When the Vasant Kunj South police reached the flat, the people nearby said that the family members had not been seen for several days and there was a foul smell coming from their flat. When the police broke the door of the landlord and others, a terrible stench started coming from inside. When the police went inside the room, the body of Hira Lal was lying on the bed of the first room. In another room, the bodies of the four daughters were lying on the bed.
Father bakes bread on the fire of life
Seeing the bodies of the entire family lying together, everyone’s hearts trembled. There was a quarrel among the people around and discussions started about the poverty of the family. People said that the father was burdened with the responsibility of his four daughters and became very worried. 46-year-old Hiralal was originally from Bihar. People around say that after the death of the wife, the diamond was very broken. Before going to work in the morning, he used to arrange food and drink for all four daughters. When the evening came, he would first bake bread on the fire of life, feed the girls and then spend the night in tears remembering his wife. With the responsibility of running the household on one hand, four disabled daughters on the other, gradually Hiralal’s courage began to fail and he began to worry. The circumstances made him so helpless that he started thinking of ending his life.
An entire family lost to poverty
But alas, even death does not come alone… If I had faced death alone the world would have told me, look… what a father was… He did not think of crippled daughters, by taking his own life he freed himself from all. Left the bound and crippled daughters on their own. In such a situation, a father’s heart will break even more. I spend day and night thinking what will happen to them if I die. This world will devour daughters. What happened next… the helpless father bought sulfa from the market… first gave it to his daughters and then consumed it himself… neither did he complain to anyone nor share his pain. Daughters also succumbed to their father’s pain and succumbed to death. Also surprisingly, when five dead bodies come to rot in a locked house, the world learns that a person named Heera also lives there… Who has time to see and know what people are going through in the houses behind the locked houses? . The door… everyone runs the race… the only difference was that Heera Lal and his family could not run the race and lost their lives.
