Dhoni’s CSK team broke all records and increased their winnings by fours and sixes.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings team may have lost crores of rupees in IPL but in terms of profits, they have left everyone behind. Chennai Super Kings has broken all records and won many times more with Dhoni’s fours and sixes. The team’s performance in FY24 was tremendous. In fact, the profits of Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited from the Indian Premier League have hit a record high. CSKCL has registered a tremendous 340% growth in net profit in the financial year ending March 2024. With this, the profits in this financial year have increased to Rs 229.20 crore as compared to the profits of Rs 52 crore in the last financial year.

How much did revenue increase?

CSKCL’s revenue in FY2023-24 was Rs 676 crore, which was Rs 292 crore in FY2022-23. While the profit after tax was Rs 229 and Rs 52 crore respectively. Apart from this, the EPS of the company increased from 6.14 to 6.98. The major source of increase in Chennai Super Kings’ earnings and profit was revenue growth, which came from increase in central rights and ticket sales. CSKCL’s total revenue increased by 131% to Rs 676.40 crore from Rs 292.34 crore in FY23.

The meeting will be held on September 27.

Following this success, KS Vishwanathan, who will continue as Managing Director of CSKCL following a resolution by the Board, will chair the company’s 10th Annual General Meeting to be held on 27 September 2024. Under his leadership, CSK remains one of the most successful franchises in the history of the IPL.

The team that has won the most times

According to the company’s statement, Chennai Super Kings has been a consistent IPL team, winning five IPL titles, reaching 10 finals and qualifying for the playoff stage 12 times. CSK has won the IPL final in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023. What is special is that Mahendra Singh Dhoni has led the team in these tournaments.
