According to Minister Gopal Rai, Chief Minister Kejriwal from jail has asked General Administration Department Minister Atishi to hoist the flag on August 15. After meeting the CM, Gopal Rai has instructed the General Administration Department to make preparations for hoisting the flag at Chhatrasal Stadium. Earlier, the layman had said that the Chief Minister has written to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi that this time Minister Atishi should be allowed to hoist the flag on August 15.
Every year on August 15, the Chief Minister of the state hoists the flag in Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been hoisting the flag since the Aam Aadmi Party came to power in Delhi, but now he is in jail under judicial custody, so the question was raised as to who will hoist the flag this time.
