A police constable died after falling from a local train in Mumbai

A very painful accident occurred due to overcrowding in a Mumbai local train. A police constable died after falling from a train while returning home from duty. The name of the police constable is Amit Gyaneshwar Gondke and he was working in Andheri Railway Police Station. After completing his duty, Gondake left for his home in Dombivli. The constable caught a local train from Andheri to Dadar and then to Dombivli at around 11 pm. He died after falling from the local between Bhandup and Nahur railway station due to overcrowding in the train.

After falling from the train, the constable lay on the railway tracks for about seven hours. The constable lost his life due to heavy crowding and lack of timely help due to rain. The constable left Andheri for his home after completing his duty at around 11 o’clock. The constable took a local train from Andheri to Dadar and then to Dombivli.

Accident victim due to loss of balance

According to reports, he fell from the train due to loss of balance due to heavy crowding. The constable fell from the train between Bhandup and Nahur railway stations. The constable suffered hand and head injuries due to the fall. The constable lay on the railway tracks in critical condition for about seven hours. The condition of the injured constable became more critical due to heavy rain. Around seven in the morning, a person informed the police that a person was lying on the side of the track in critical condition.

Death from lack of help

On receiving the information, the Kurla police reached the spot and admitted Amit Dyaneshwar Gondke to a nearby hospital. He died during treatment. The constable was identified by his ID card. A constable fell down due to overcrowding in a local train late at night due to rain. The police constable lay on the railway track in critical condition for about six to seven hours. Due to heavy rain and crowd, the injured constable was not noticed or helped in time. Due to which he died.
