Conspiracy to blow up the train in Kanpur failed! LPG cylinders were kept on track, now IB will investigate

A high-level investigation has been launched into LPG cylinders and petrol bottles found on railway tracks in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. RPFA has registered an FIR. Along with this, the investigation of this case has been handed over to IB. It is believed that it is not common to find gas cylinders and petrol bottles on railway tracks. This clearly indicates some big conspiracy. According to railway officials, this is not the first time this has happened. UP: For the past several months, there has been a conspiracy to derail trains by keeping sensitive items on railway tracks.

The latest incident is on the Anwarganj-Kasganj railway route. According to RPF officials, the Kalindi Express train was about 2.5 kilometers away from Bararajpur railway station when it collided with an LPG gas cylinder kept on the railway track. Due to which there was a huge explosion. Fortunately, the Loco pilot applied the emergency brake and a major accident was averted. After this, when a team of GRP and RPF reached the spot and investigated, it was found that the LPG cylinder was kept on the railway track. It also contained petrol bottles, match boxes and other sensitive items.

The train stopped for 22 minutes

The explosion was caused by a burst gas cylinder. The Kalindi Express was halted at Mackay for about 22 minutes after the accident. Later, after checking the track, the train was sent ahead. A similar incident happened a few days ago with the Sabarmati Express, in which 22 coaches of the train overturned. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the RPF registered an FIR late on Saturday night. According to railway officials, the IB has been roped in to investigate the matter.

Along with this, Kanpur DM and Police Commissioner as well as Chief Secretary and DGP of Uttar Pradesh have been informed about this matter. According to railway officials, the gas cylinder was dragged for a long distance on the track after hitting the train. His traces were found on the track. A bottle of petrol was also found a short distance away. According to railway officials, full preparations were made for this conspiracy. Fortunately the Loco pilot applied the emergency brake and a major disaster was averted.

Request for investigation from central agencies

According to railway officials, this action may be of anti-social elements. Their aim behind this is to spread panic. As such a conspiracy has been going on for the past several months and four-five cases have come to light, it cannot be taken lightly. According to railway officials, not only the RPF will investigate the matter, central investigating agencies are also being roped in.
