Prime Minister Narendra Modi
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Prime Minister Modi has hit out at the Congress. He called Congress the most corrupt party. He said that even Congress people hate Ganapati Puja. Prime Minister Modi said that when I went for Ganesh Puja, Congress faced a problem. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi also targeted Rahul Gandhi without naming him. He said that some people go abroad and insult India.
Prime Minister Modi said that due to the anti-Dalit and anti-backward mentality of the previous governments, the Vishwakarma community was never allowed to come forward. PM Modi said that unfortunately in the last seventy years no government has worked to promote rural industries and indigenous traditional skills or for the prosperity of the Vishwakarma community. But more than 8 lakh artisans have been trained in the last one year alone. More than 60 thousand people are being trained in Maharashtra alone.
PM Mitra Park also started
Prime Minister Modi said that the foundation stone of ‘PM Mitra Park’ has also been laid in Amaravati today. I take this opportunity to congratulate all the people associated with this scheme and all the beneficiaries across the country. Today’s India is working to take its textile industry to the top of the global market. He said that the country’s aim is to restore the thousand-year-old glory of India’s textile sector. ‘PM Mitra Park’ in Amaravati is another big step in this direction.
PM handed over checks to the beneficiaries
On completion of one year of PM Vishwakarma Yojana, loans were sanctioned to 76 thousand beneficiaries. In Wardha, Maharashtra, Prime Minister Modi personally presented the loan check to the beneficiaries present here. These beneficiaries came from different states. These beneficiaries belong to various professions.
What is PM Vishwakarma Yojana?
The PM Vishwakarma Yojana was launched on September 17 last year. Under this scheme, more than 140 different caste entrepreneurs of the country were started to benefit. More than 17 artisans and traditional artisans are involved in this scheme. Loans up to 3 lakh rupees are given to these industrialists at minimum interest.
