Complain about me to SDM or Collector, go and take your ration as per law… says a ration vendor from Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. He was fearlessly robbing poor customers of their rations. Whenever people asked him for ration, he started cursing. Even after complaining to the SDM, his morale did not drop. After his threatening video went viral, action was taken against him. Now the accused ration seller has been sent to jail.
Balveer Yadav, a salesman at a fair price shop in village panchayat Kusuan under Ranaud tehsil of the district, was not only usurping the ration of the poor but was also abusing them. Aggrieved villagers complained about this to Kolaras SDM in July. The morale of the salesmen was high as no action was taken despite complaints.
The villagers made the video viral
Yesterday the villagers demanded monthly ration from him. The salesman told them that you all go wherever you want, go to the SDM, go to the collector and take your ration as per law. On that the villagers told the salesman that law is supreme. The salesman challenged him and said that if you go, take the ration as per the law. The villagers made a video of this entire conversation and made it viral on social media.
SDM took action
According to Kolaras SDM Anoop Srivastav, salesman Balveer Yadav, who behaved indecently, has been sent to jail based on the above video. He said he was not an authorized salesman of the Government Fair Price Shop. But action has been taken against the person who molested the youth. Apart from this, government fair price shops are also being thoroughly checked. If found guilty after investigation, a case will be registered against the seller and action will be taken.
