On International Yoga Day, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given a unique message to Shiva devotees around the world by performing yoga at Adi Kailash, located at a height of about 15 thousand feet above sea level. CM Dhami said that the picture of border villages is changing today due to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A large number of devotees are coming to Vyas Valley every day to visit pilgrimage sites like Adi Kailash, Om Parvat, Kailash Darshan, Kali Mandir, Vyas Cave.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dhami invited tourists and pilgrims from the world to visit Adi Kailas and the entire Vyas Valley by doing yoga at the abode of Lord Shiva and also appealed to promote local products.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that millions of people in the world are benefiting from yoga today. On this occasion we all should incorporate yoga into our daily routine for physical, mental and emotional strength. We should inspire and awaken each other.

Chief Minister Dhami said that Prime Minister Modi came on a one-day visit to Pithoragarh district on October 12 last year. The Prime Minister then reached Jyolingkong and visited Adi Kailash and Lake Parvati. Prime Minister Modi’s visit gave Adi Kailash Dham a new identity at the international level. Religious tourism in Manaskhand has given a new impetus. With the increasing number of tourists and pilgrims, this border region of Pithoragarh is fast becoming a major tourist destination.

These days the border areas of Pithoragarh are buzzing with tourists from the country and the world. A large number of tourists and pilgrims are coming every day to visit Adi Kailash, Parvati Sarovar and Mount Om. Devotees are overwhelmed by seeing Adi Kailash, Parvati Sarovar, Gauri Kund, Om Parvat.

Inner Line Permits are available online

Due to the closure of Kailas Mansarovar Yatra, the inclination of Shiva devotees towards Adi Kailash Yatra has increased. A visa is required from the Chinese government to visit Kailash Mansarovar, while Adi Kailash is within the Indian border and can only be done on an Inner Line permit. Arrangements for online permits have been made so that tourists and pilgrims do not have to wander for online permits.

How to reach Adi Kailas?

To visit Adi Kailash, you have to first reach Pithoragarh via Tanakpur or Haldwani. You can reach Haldwani or Tanakpur by bus or train from Delhi. After this you can go to Pithoragarh by bus or taxi. After covering the 90 km distance from Pithoragarh to Dharchula by taxi, an Inner Line Permit is required for onward journey. A distance of 80 km has to be covered to reach Adi Kailash from Dharchula. Taxis are available in Dharchula for this.
