When an elected CM can be jailed for 150 days without any evidence, without any complaint, without any crime, I need not say what he will do with the common tribals/dalits/exploited people. Taking the oath, CM Hemant Soren said, “Today I further strengthen my resolve to fight for every exploited, deprived, downtrodden, backward, tribal and tribal person.
I will raise my voice for every person/community who is oppressed, who is deprived of justice, who is oppressed on the basis of his colour, community, food, dress. He further said, we have to unite to build a society where law is equal for all, where there is no abuse of power. CM Hemant Soren said, Yes, this road will not be easy, we will have to face many challenges, but I am confident that together we will overcome these challenges, because our strength lies in the unity and diversity of our country.
Today, on my birthday, the memory of the past year is etched in my mind – it is this prisoner mark – that was placed on me when I was released from prison. This mark is not just mine, but a symbol of the current challenges of our democracy.

The High Court gave relief
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren was arrested by the ED on January 31 in a case related to the land scam. Due to which he had to resign from the post of Chief Minister. After spending nearly 5 months in jail, he was granted bail by the High Court on 28 June, after which Hemant Soren was again sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. The ED filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the High Court’s decision to grant bail to Soren, however, the Supreme Court dismissed the ED’s plea.
