The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has informed that he may resign from the post of Chief Minister tomorrow. Earlier on Sunday, while addressing the workers, Kejriwal suddenly announced his resignation from the post of Chief Minister.

On the other hand, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia visited Kejriwal’s official residence this morning to discuss the possible names of the new chief minister, sources linked to the party said. After this, the party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting is going to be held this evening itself at the Chief Minister’s official residence.

A possible name for the new Chief Minister

After Kejriwal’s resignation, the possible contenders for the next Chief Minister include Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Rakhi Birlan, Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal, Delhi Government Ministers Atishi and Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Kailash Gehlot.

Earlier, while addressing his party workers at the party headquarters on Sunday, CM Kejriwal had announced his resignation as CM amid allegations of corruption and said, “He will not accept this post until he gets a certificate of honesty from the public.” .” He also said that he will become Chief Minister and Manish Sisodia will become Deputy Chief Minister only when people call him honest.
