Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday is on Tuesday (September 17). Cleanliness fortnight will be celebrated in Madhya Pradesh from this day. On this occasion, many activities will be organized in the Swachhta Pakhwadi celebrated with ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan’ under Swachh Bharat Mission. During this cleanliness fortnight, which will last from Prime Minister Modi’s birthday to Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October, many programs will be organized by all the urban organizations of the state with public participation. CM Mohan Yadav said that on the call of PM Modi, people have celebrated the cleanliness campaign as a public movement.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that we have to follow the principle of ‘Sanskriti Swachta and Prakriti Swachta’ to advance the Prime Minister’s cleanliness drive. Along with cleanliness in your behavior, you should also maintain cleanliness around you. There are three important pillars of cleanliness. First – participation of general public, second – labor donation for cleanliness and third pillar is conducting activities focused on health check and social security under Safai Mitra Security Camp.
‘Cleanliness is a Service Campaign’
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav further said that the work of cleanliness cannot be done depending on the government alone. Everyone has to participate and come forward. He appealed to actively participate in the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan’. Various workshops and programs will be organized by voluntary organizations during the cleanliness fortnight, through which the general public will be made aware of the importance and need of cleanliness.

Along with this, he also said that for the success of the fortnight, efforts will be made to connect every citizen of the state through social, business, religious organizations and gram sabhas along with the coordination of various departments. Ministers of the state government and other public representatives will also participate in the service drive. The campaign will be made successful and effective through new methods. In the end, CM Mohan Yadav congratulated and wished PM Modi on his birthday.
