There is an uproar over the mosque in Shimla. On Thursday, Hindu right-wing organizations staged a protest demanding the demolition of an illegal mosque at Chauda Maidan near the Legislative Assembly. There is political heat in the state regarding this mosque. State CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said the law will take its course. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that this is an illegal mosque, built on government land.
Let us tell you that on September 1, a businessman was attacked in Malayana area. Some people from the Muslim community are reported to be involved in this. Soon after the incident, people gathered outside Sanjauli in Malayana and demanded the demolition of a mosque there.
Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that there was also a discussion in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. A case was also registered in Shimla Corporation in 2010. This is an illegal mosque, built on government land. There was some controversy in the village, then this matter came up. The accused reached this mosque to take shelter. More than 300 people have started arriving, no one has been identified this is a matter of concern.

He said that the Congress minister himself said that it was made wrong. Worryingly, people were misbehaving and came to the mosque for refuge. He said that Sukhu had earlier stated that he had defeated the Hindu government. This shows their mentality. Action should be taken in this whole matter. Its construction started in 2010, till then it went unnoticed.
He said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu called him on Wednesday and assured action in this matter.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that small things become big things. All these things should not be ignored. According to the constitution of the country any citizen of the country can live anywhere to see that no one disturbs the people of the community. We don’t want to see which minister made what statement. I want to make it clear to you that no one will be allowed to take the law into their hands.
Earlier, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Anirudh Singh said that the mosque is built on government land and the matter is pending in court for the last 14 years. Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh said that there will be no delay in taking action against any encroacher. No one is above the law and whatever action is taken will be within the parameters of the law, whether the action is taken by the municipality or the police.
