Cholera has spread in Tiklan village in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. A girl died of cholera on Sunday, while 60 children were found sick at a health camp in the village. In the same sequence, another girl died of vomiting and diarrhea on Tuesday night. Two deaths have occurred one after the other due to cholera spreading in the village. An atmosphere of fear has spread throughout the village as the epidemic spreads.
Thilakalan village is a tribal village. More than 60 children of this village are currently in the grip of cholera. The source of the outbreak of cholera in the village is the contaminated well water, which all the children have fallen ill after drinking. The outbreak of the disease is so severe that two children have died in the last few days. Suhani’s daughter Rajaram Adivasi died of vomiting and diarrhea on Sunday. After this, the children of the village developed symptoms of the disease and many children were taken to the Kolrus health center.
Test reports of 60 children confirmed cholera.
Following this, the administration swung into action and organized a health camp in the village on Tuesday. More than 60 children who were examined in the health camp showed symptoms of the disease due to which the children were given first aid by giving medicines. The health department has advised the villagers to drink boiled water. However, the health of another child, Neha, deteriorated late on Tuesday night.

When her health deteriorated, she was referred by ambulance to Kolaras Health Center where, seeing the critical condition of the girl, she was referred to Shivpuri District Hospital, but the girl died before reaching Shivpuri District Hospital. On reaching the hospital, the doctors examined Neha and declared her brought dead.
