Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai gave information about school education during the question period in the assembly. He said that the ratio of teachers to students in Chhattisgarh is better than the national ratio. He said that the country has one teacher for every 26 students while the state has one teacher for every 21 students.

The Chief Minister said that till now there were some irregularities in the posting of teachers. Due to which there was shortage of teachers. For this reason, rationalization will be the first priority. In some schools, where the subject is a teacher, there are no teachers, where the subject is not a teacher, there are teachers.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the ratio of teachers per student in some places is very low in the state. In some places there is one teacher for every 4-5 students. Such schools are being identified for rationalization process and teachers will be appointed in all the schools soon. With this, teachers will be available in all schools and the standard of education will be better.

The Chief Minister also said that along with the provision of teachers, we are also working on infrastructure development. It may be noted that the teacher to student ratio in Chhattisgarh is better than the national average. After completion of the process of rationalization, teachers will be available in all the schools. The rationalization being done by this government will have a positive impact on the education system of the state and teachers will also be available in schools where education is being affected due to shortage of teachers.
