According to police officials, security forces arrested eight Naxalites on Saturday in Jagargunda police station area of ​​the district. When the team reached Bainpally village, some of the suspects started running away. After which the security forces surrounded the area and arrested the Naxalites.

The arrested Naxalites included 33-year-old militia commander Muchki Pala, officials said. A reward of one lakh rupees was announced on Pala. He was wanted for a long time, after which he was caught by the police.
