A leader opened fire on cows in Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh, seriously injuring two cows. The cows were so guilty that they entered the accused’s farm. The herdsman complained about this to the police, on the basis of which the police arrested the accused with weapons. Also, the injured cows have been admitted to the animal hospital for treatment, where they are being treated.
The entire matter belongs to the Mission located in the City Kotwali Police Station area of ​​the district. Local resident Umesh Ram’s two domesticated cows entered Balrampur Municipal Council chairman Param Minj’s farm while grazing. He got angry seeing those cows grazing in his field. He fired at the cows. The police immediately arrested him based on the complaint. He has been produced in court and sent to jail.
4 to 5 rounds fired
Aggrieved herdsman Umesh said that the accused Param Minj is associated with the Congress party. He alleged that when his cow entered Param’s field, he ran away, took out an airgun from the house and fired 4 to 5 rounds, injuring both his cows seriously. Presently the accused’s wife Sundermani Minj is the President of Balrampur Municipal Council. It is alleged that Param Minj has been involved in several social activities including beef consumption and smuggling in the past. After this incident, there is a lot of anger in the area. Local people are demanding strict action against the accused.
Police arrested
Informing about the entire incident, Additional Superintendent of Police of the district Shailendra Pandey said that after Umesh Ram’s complaint, the City Kotwali Police immediately reached the spot taking the matter seriously. The police seized the air gun and arrested the accused. The ASP said that the accused already had a habit. Many types of crimes have been registered against him in the police station. He has also gone to jail many times. Currently, the police is investigating the matter.
