Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached the capital Raipur on Friday night on a three-day visit to Chhattisgarh. He will participate in several programs including inter-state coordination meeting till 25th August. Home Minister Amit Shah reached Raipur’s Swami Vivekananda Airport by a special flight after 10 pm, where he was received by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, officials said.
Officials said that during this, Deputy CMs Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Tokhan Sahu, members of the Chhattisgarh Council of Ministers and senior officials were present. Amit Shah left for the hotel in New Raipur from the airport.

Amit Shah reached Raipur on a three-day trip
In fact, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Raipur on a three-day visit. They will hold day-long meetings on Saturday i.e. today for the final strike against Naxalism. Before the meeting, the Home Minister will visit Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya Ashram today. Will participate in the program organized by Gujarati Samaj at 10:30 am.
Meeting against Naxalism today
After this, Amit Shah will hold an inter-state coordination meeting with Chief Secretaries and Director Generals of Police of Chhattisgarh and about 8 neighboring states affected by Naxalism. The meeting is considered important as part of the steps taken towards uprooting the Naxal problem. Apart from CRPF, ITBP, IB, Home Ministry officials will also be present in this meeting.
Minute-to-minute program
There will be a discussion on review and planning to rid the country of Naxalism. The meeting will start at 11:30 AM at Hotel Mayfair, Raipur. After this, Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a meeting at 2.30 pm to review security and development in left-wing extremism-affected areas of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and State Home Minister will also be present in it.
Will hold a press conference in the evening
After these meetings, Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a press conference at 5.30 pm. He can talk about the government’s plan to deal with the Naxals. After this meeting, it is possible that the Home Minister will make a major announcement and there is also a possibility that he will give some major strategic information.
