Chhattisgarh: Girl playing in courtyard taken away by man-eating leopard, body parts found in forest.

In Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh, a man-eating leopard snatched away an innocent three-year-old girl. A fierce panther tore up the girl and ate her. The family along with the forest department team searched for the girl in the forest. Meanwhile some parts of his body were found. A few hours later, the girl’s ankle was found. The girl’s mutilated body was found near bushes in the hills.

Fear of man-eating leopards has spread among people in the district. People fear its terror. Two cubs have been chewed by a leopard in the last one month. The villagers complained to the forest department but there was no solution. The department team is trying to catch the leopard. Wild animals are coming and attacking populated areas due to rain.

The girl was playing in the courtyard, the leopard took her away

The incident took place in Dhaurabhatha, a dependent village of Bhaismuda Gram Panchayat in Sankara Forest Range of Dhamtari District. Here three year old innocent Neha was playing in the courtyard of the house. Meanwhile, a panther came from the forest and took the girl. When the girl’s family came out, she was missing. They went out and looked for her but could not find her. They were afraid that the girl would be taken away by a wild animal. The family informed the forest department.

A mutilated body was found in the bushes

The forest department team and the villagers went to the forest. After an extensive search there, some body parts of the girl were found. Then, going further, an anklet was found. Family members told him it was a girl. After about two days of searching, some mutilated parts of the girl were found in the bushes near the hill. He is suspected to have been attacked and killed by a leopard. After the girl’s death, the forest department became alert. He has started efforts to capture the leopard.
