A shocking case has come to light from Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh where a young man’s head was split open due to the sound of a DJ. DJ’s noise caused a blood clot after rupturing a vein. The youth was admitted to Ambikapur district hospital for treatment. Doctors were also shocked after such a case came to light. Doctors said that due to the DJ’s loud noise, the young man had ruptured a vein in his head and formed a blood clot. The youth was referred to Raipur for better treatment after receiving information about blood clot in the head.
After seeing the young man, the doctors informed him about his past illnesses. The family told the doctors that the young man neither had any BP problem nor had he ever suffered a serious head injury. After which the doctors were shocked. The doctors said that due to the loud sound of the DJ, the vein in the young man’s head had ruptured.
Even the doctor was surprised to see the report
Sanjay Jaiswal, a resident of Chalgali in Balrampur district, went to ENT specialist Dr. Shailendra Gupta for treatment with complaints of dizziness and vomiting. Dr. Shailendra Gupta advised the patient to undergo a CT scan as the cause of the young man’s illness was not found in the preliminary examination. Even the technicians were amazed when the young man underwent his CT scan. The young man had blood clots in his head. In such a situation, he reported the incident to the doctor. After receiving the information, the doctor questioned the young man and his family. Meanwhile, the young man told the doctor that he neither had BP problem nor had any quarrel. He has never fallen or sustained a serious head injury.
The loud noise caused the nerves in the head to burst
Dr. Shailendra Gupta said that sound intensity of 60 to 70 decibels is suitable for the human body but after that sound above 85 decibels can cause serious consequences. Continuous exposure to sound intensity of 85 decibels can cause hearing loss. This can lead to irritability, high blood pressure, heart attack, paralysis, insomnia, amnesia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Demand for ban on DJ
The doctor said that after examining the patient and talking to him, he realized that he had suffered a brain haemorrhage due to the loud music of the DJ. If a DJ or any sound is played too loud, it has a bad effect on health. Even before this, patients suffering from deafness and other diseases have come here due to the loud sound of the DJ. A meeting has been held with the SP regarding this problem and a demand has been made to take an initiative on noise pollution.
