The commotion of people continued till late night. However, seeing the matter gaining momentum, SP Rahul Lodha himself reached the spot and pacified the people. It was all just a rumor and seeing the situation at the scene becoming tense, the Ratlam police called in additional police forces from the surrounding districts.

Names of 13 accused

Along with the transgender who spread the rumour, three people, including Lakhan Rajwania, a criminal from the city, were arrested. After questioning him, now the Ratlam police has revealed the incident. Police have claimed that transgender Kajal spread the rumor at the behest of Rajwani. In this matter, Ratlam police have registered a case under serious sections against more than 150 people including 13 named people. Apart from Kajal and Lakhan Rajwania, the named accused include Ravi Sharma, Mahendra Solanki, Jalaj Sankhla, Nitesh, Mukesh Banjara, Manthan Bhosale, Ravi Sen, Vijay Prajapati, Aman Jain, Jaideep Gurjar and Aju Burgunda etc. All these accused are accused of inciting the crowd, creating ruckus and vandalizing vehicles.
