Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement on Sunday. He has said that he will resign from the post after two days. Along with this we will demand early elections in Delhi. Kejriwal said that he will not sit on the chief minister’s chair until people give him a certificate of sincerity. After his announcement, the question is being raised as to who will take charge of the Chief Minister’s post. In this race, the name of Minister Atishi in the Aam Aadmi Party government is leading.

Atishi is currently a minister in the Aam Aadmi Party government. He has the responsibility of the Education Department. When stalwarts like Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia were in jail, Atishi raised the voice of the party on every front. She stood with Kejriwal’s wife on every platform. He is one of the leaders Kejriwal has the most confidence in.

This may also be the reason for assigning responsibility to Atishi

Announcing his resignation from the post of CM, Kejriwal has also said that allegations of corruption have been made against me. In the case in which Kejriwal is an accused, his close aide Sisodia has also been in jail. In such a situation, it is more likely that he will hand over the CM post to Atishi. Failure to do so would give the BJP an opportunity to attack Kejriwal if they put forward Sisodia’s name, which Kejriwal is not going to give under any circumstances.

Kejriwal coming from jail and then suddenly resigning, this cannot be a coincidence. Political experts say that Kejriwal made this announcement as part of a well thought out strategy. He wants to win the masses to his side through his well-known emotional political approach. In such a situation, handing over the responsibility of the CM post to Atishi can be a further blow to the BJP. There could be two more reasons behind his decision. Click here to know about them,

During the stay of senior party leaders in jail, Atishi observed and understood the political activities more closely. She was also an advisor to Manish Sisodia, who was the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi from July 2015 to 17 April 2018. After the 2020 elections, the party made him the in-charge of the Goa unit. Born in Delhi, Atishi hails from a Punjabi Rajput family.

These are the two reasons behind Atishi’s strong claim

Atishi has responsibility for 14 departments in the Kejriwal government, the most of any minister in the current Delhi government. It has key ministries like Finance, Education and Public Works Department. This shows how big a role he plays in the Kejriwal-led government.

On the occasion of Independence Day, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed his wish that Atishi be allowed to hoist the flag in his place. He expressed this wish while in jail. He said that Atishi should hoist the flag at the event to be held on August 15 at the Chhatrasal Stadium. However, his proposal was rejected. These two reasons testify to Kejriwal’s faith in Atishi.
