Even though Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding is several days away, the buzz shows no signs of slowing down. Before the wedding, there were reports that Sonakshi’s family was not happy with her decision. However, father Shatrughan also attended his daughter’s wedding and performed all the rituals along with his wife. But the absence of her brother Luv from Sonakshi’s wedding upset people, due to which the news spread like wildfire that there was a rift in the Sinha family.
Recently Luv Sinha himself revealed why he could not be a part of his sister’s wedding. Now Shatrughan Sinha has also broken his silence on this matter. He seems to be angry with the kind of reactions he is getting for his son. During a recent interview, the veteran actor claimed that he has seen major crises in his life. He also said there was a campaign to defame his family.
“We have seen many big crises and this is nothing,” Shatrughan Sinha said in an interview to Times Now. The actor was also asked about the news of ongoing family differences, to which he said, “There is nothing to worry about.” We were like any other normal family getting married. Why we became the center of so much attention, you know better than I do.

Concluding his speech, Shatrughan Sinha continued, “We did not demand this. This is not the first time that this type of marriage (inter-religious) is taking place. “Our family was made the victim of a smear campaign.” The actor also warned people who are doing this. “Let me make this clear,” he said angrily. I will not tolerate attacks on my family.
On attending love Sonakshi’s wedding, the actor said, “Some things should stay in the family.” Like I said, what family doesn’t have disagreements? We may disagree and argue on some points. But at the end of the day, we are a family. And no one can break us.”
