The Kutch gang is once again active in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh. The miscreants of this gang committed the crime in Fatuwapur village of Thaliya police station area late on Tuesday night. The miscreants barged into a house wearing shorts, took the entire family hostage, beat them up, took the keys to the cupboard and fled with the cash and jewelery kept in the house. Meanwhile, when the family members tried to protest, the miscreants even attacked a person with a knife. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
The victim Santosh has lodged a complaint with the police regarding this incident. He said that he and his family members slept at home after dinner on Tuesday night. After midnight, when he felt some movement inside the house, he got up and looked. At that time, five people armed with weapons entered the house. All these people had handkerchiefs tied over their faces and were wearing only underpants. These people gathered all the people of the house in one place with the help of weapons and then beat them all.

According to Santosh, the miscreants first demanded the key of the cupboard, when he did not give it, they beat up one of the members and then opened the cupboard and fled with the gold and silver jewelery kept in the house and lakhs of rupees in cash. . The miscreants of this incident also broke into a house in the nearby village of Basta and committed a crime on the same pattern and fled from the spot. On the same night, two houses in two villages were reported to have been robbed on the same pattern. Hastily, higher officials of the district inspected the spot and started efforts to nab the miscreants.

After receiving information, Kannauj Police Captain Amit Kumar Anand, who reached the spot, said that separate teams have been formed to nab the miscreants. A forensic team and a dog squad have also been deployed for this. As soon as the incident was reported, there was panic in the entire district. People have started preparations to avoid such situations. Along with this, the police have also demanded to increase patrolling at night.
