The youth jumped from the overbridge
A youth jumped from a foot overbridge in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur. In this incident, the youth was seriously injured and died. Indeed, the youth climbed the foot overbridge after being chased by villagers who suspected the bike was stolen. On receiving the information, the police convoy reached the spot. Efforts were made to bring it down for about eight hours. But he was unprepared and died after falling from the overbridge.
Seeing two suspicious youths near Nevada village in Line Bazar Police Station area on Tuesday morning, villagers mistook them for bike lifters and chased them. One of the youths was caught by the villagers and handed over to the police, while another accomplice climbed the pole of the foot overbridge on the Varanasi-Lucknow highway. The young man climbed for about eight hours. As soon as the information was received, the police made all efforts to bring him down safely, but it did not work.
The police continued to explain, but the young man did not believe.
Jaunpur Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma got the information as soon as this young man climbed the foot overbridge. Immediately they deployed teams of police, fire brigade and NHAI, including an ambulance. A large ladder and a net were installed to rescue the young man. Not only that, tall vehicles were parked under the foot overbridge. Police officers worked for hours to talk to this young man. But the young man did not listen to anyone.
Jumped after 8 hours
After about 8 hours, the young man suddenly jumped from the foot overbridge to the other side. He was seriously injured in the fall. He was rushed to the district hospital with the help of an ambulance, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The youth was from Bihar
Aadhaar card recovered from youth who committed suicide by jumping from foot overbridge. He was identified as Avinash Kumar, a resident of Samastipur, Bihar. After this, the police took possession of the body and informed the family.

The deceased youth was a resident of Bihar.
