Police have registered a case on the basis of CCTV footage. It is being claimed that Barabanki MLA’s son is also included in the firing party. The police have started identifying the accused based on the CCTV footage. The shooting incident is said to have taken place at around 12.30 pm on Wednesday. The one who fired was the bouncer. He came with MLA’s brother. The police have also questioned the local people about the incident.

Five people reached here in a black colored Fortuner car on Wednesday night. The CCTV footage shows that five youths came out of the car, including four bouncers along with one youth. At the dhaba, there was a fight between the parties against him. Suddenly the dispute escalated and the fight started.

The dispute escalated to such an extent that the bouncer, armed with a gun, got out of the car and fired five rounds into the air. The incident of firing created a stir. There was a stampede among the people present at the dhaba. People started running here and there. Chinhat police reached after getting information about the firing incident. She reached the spot. The accused shooter fled the scene before the police arrived. The police informed the people present about the incident. Four shells and one live cartridge have been recovered from the spot. People said that those who spread terror by firing were from Barabanki. One of these accused is said to be the brother of Barabanki district MLA. Police have registered a case.
