Digital presence suspended for two months
Principal Secretary Basic Education on Tuesday postponed the digital presence for two months. During this time, a committee will be formed which will understand the queries of the teachers. The government has taken this step after huge protests by teachers. The teachers were protesting the Yogi government’s digital presence decision from the beginning.
Teachers said they have no problem in marking attendance online. He says that there is no network in the schools. The road is not right. Once all these issues are resolved, we are ready to attend online. After huge protests, the government gave some concession to the teachers, but now it has postponed its decision for 2 months.
What is the case of Pantnagar?
Houses were identified along the banks of the Kukrel River in Lucknow. Houses built within 50 meters of the river were declared illegal. There are about a thousand houses in Rahimnagar, Khurramnagar, Indraprasthanagar, Pantnagar and Abrarnagar within the Kukrel Riverfront area. Houses were marked and marked red. Bulldozers had to be used on these houses.
People started protesting against it. People said we have a copy of the registry. There are electricity bills. So how did the house get broken into? People living here say that they have built this house with their life’s earnings. Took a loan. After demolishing the house we will come on the road. Many residents even said that we have to get our daughter married from this house. This request of the people reached CM Yogi. After which he held a meeting with the officials. After the meeting, instructions were given that houses on the bank of Kukrel river in Pantnagar, Khurramnagar and Abrar Nagar will not be demolished.
What did CM Yogi tell people?
The affected family members reached the Chief Minister’s residence on Tuesday. The Chief Minister said in clear terms that be it Pantnagar or Indraprastha Nagar, the state government is committed to the safety and peaceful life of the people living there. According to the NGT order in the relevant case, the flood plain area of ​​the river has been identified. Private land is also included in the flood plain zone, but there is currently neither a requirement nor a proposal to evacuate private land. No issue of demolition of private buildings on private lands is under consideration.
Not only this, he said that the signs placed on buildings during flood plain zone marking had caused fear and confusion among the general public, there was no justification for this and responsibility should be fixed for this. The Chief Minister told the affected families that while developing the riverbed, if any house is constructed on private land, the certified ownership of which is owned by a private person, it will be acquired only after proper compensation as per rules. After meeting the Chief Minister, the happy families expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and also raised slogans of ‘Yogi Hai To Yakin Hai’.
