Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today presented the first budget of the Modi government 3.0. This budget is considered the foundation of developed India. During the presentation of the budget in the lower house of Parliament, Sitharaman spoke about the nine priorities of the Modi government. The Finance Minister said that the government will conduct a comprehensive review of research to develop climate-friendly seeds. Apart from this, efforts will continue in the current fiscal year to achieve the goal of developed India.

The Finance Minister further said that the government will focus on nine priorities. The government will promote digital public infrastructure for agriculture in partnership with states. He said that vegetable production clusters will be promoted on a large scale to increase production. As stated in the interim budget, we need to focus on the poor, women, youth and farmers.

3 schemes implemented for employment promotion

Presenting the budget, the Finance Minister said, “Our government will implement three employment-related incentive schemes as part of the Prime Minister’s Package. These will be based on EPFO ​​enrolment and will focus on identifying first-time employees and assisting employees and employers. This year, the allocation for agriculture and allied sectors is Rs 1.52 lakh crore.

3 lakh crore rupees for women

The Finance Minister said the government has allocated over Rs 3 lakh crore for schemes benefiting women and girls. Industrial workers will be provided with accommodation in dormitories. The grant for backward regions will be given to three districts of Andhra Pradesh. The Centre on Tuesday proposed an outlay of Rs 26,000 crore for various road projects in Bihar.
