Killer in police custody
A young man’s visit to his in-laws’ house in Chhattisgarh’s Balrampur district proved costly when he created a controversy there. When the young man started swearing because of lack of liquor, he killed his brother-in-law along with his friends. After the murder, the brother-in-law threw the body into the well and left. The whole matter has come to light after the body was found in the well. The police have arrested the accused.
According to the information, this whole case belongs to Khugri Kala village of Kusmi police station area of Balrampur district. Rajesh Paikra, who lives here, had gone to dance Karma (a type of folk dance) in the village with his wife Sunita. Rajesh’s brother-in-law and his friends also came to dance Karma. All were residents of Nawadih village. Including a minor. Before the program everyone drank hadiya and then started looking for alcohol to get drunk.
Killed by strangulation
As there was no liquor in the village, everyone went to another village and started looking for liquor there. When liquor was not available in other villages too, brother-in-law Rajesh got angry and started fighting with him for two years. Not only that, Rajesh also abused other people who had accompanied him over the years. After this the daughter-in-law came and started beating the sister-in-law. After the beating, they all picked up Rajesh and took him to the well and strangled him to death.
Throw the body into the well
The accused threw Rajesh’s body in a well to destroy the evidence. After Rajesh did not reach home for two days, his father lodged a complaint with the police. Then the police got information that an unidentified body was found in a well in the neighboring village. When it was identified, it came to be known that it was Rajesh’s dead body. After investigation, the police have arrested 6 accused, one of whom is a minor.
