BJP state president in UP Bhupendra Chaudhary met PM Modi today.

Following the crushing defeat of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh is in continuous political upheaval. BJP leaders associated with the state continue to meet the central leaders of the party. BJP state president in UP Bhupendra Chaudhary met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday. The two leaders held a meeting for about an hour.

In a long meeting, Bhupendra Chaudhary informed PM Modi about the reasons for the party’s poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections. Earlier on Tuesday, Bhupendra Chaudhary met the party’s national president JP Nadda. The central leadership of the party is busy trying to find the reasons for the defeat in UP.

Other UP leaders also opined

Apart from this, the state Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also met JP Nadda yesterday and also reacted to his poor performance. It is being said that the central leadership of the party will take the reaction through a separate meeting with other prominent leaders belonging to UP.

Sources say that both the UP leaders met National President JP Nadda separately yesterday. The report given to Nadda during the meeting attributed the party’s defeat to the neglect of workers during the elections and the work done against the BJP by the local administration.

He blamed the administration for the defeat

The report said that the working style of the UP administration had neglected the party workers. This is the reason why BJP workers were not seen active during the elections. There were also complaints that names of BJP-supporting voters were removed from the voter list by the administration. No help has been received from the administration in this whole matter.

UP leaders told the party’s central leadership that the BJP’s votes have declined in a specific pattern in each seat.
