After making a huge comeback with ‘Gadar 2’, Sunny Deol is now hitting the theaters with ‘Border 2’. The 1997 multistarrer film ‘Border’ is one of the most successful films of Sunny Deol’s career. JP Dutta is now making the sequel of this film. Apart from Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh have also entered the film. In the coming days, information about the complete cast and who will be seen in which role will be given in the launching event of this film. Now it has been revealed that the film’s war sequences will be choreographed by a veteran Hollywood action director.

Border was directed by JP Dutta, but Anurag Singh has been entrusted with directing the second part. The shooting of this film is scheduled to begin from November 25 this year. Mid Day has stated in its report that the makers will shoot continuously for five months i.e. from November 2024 to March 2025.

The action director will choreograph the war sequences

The report states that the makers have finalized two locations to shoot the war sequences in Jammu and Kashmir. However, the Indian Army has not yet given final approval for the location. Quoting sources, the report said that Hollywood action director Nick Powell is going to direct the war sequences of the film. Nick was also earlier associated with SS Rajamouli’s RRR. He has choreographed action in films like 1999’s The Mummy, 2002’s The Bourne Identity and 2003’s The Last Samurai.

Where will the shooting take place?

The shooting of Border 2 will begin with the shooting of the war sequences. It is being said that Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh will be shooting with heavy weapons and ammunition. Its first schedule will be shot in Jammu and Kashmir. After this, the film will be shot in Rajasthan and then Uttar Pradesh in January next year.
