The body of a minor was found hanging in the house of MLA of Bhadohi Sadar
The body of a minor girl who worked at the house of Samajwadi Party MLA Zahid Baig in Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi has been found hanging. A girl named Nazia was staying at the MLA’s house and doing housework for the past long time. SP MLA Zahid Baig has become an MLA for the second time from the Bhadohi assembly seat. The police took possession of the dead body at 9 am and sent it for postmortem. However, later the police informed about the entire matter.
The entire incident took place in Mohalla Malikana of Bhadohi Sadar Kotwali area. On Sunday night, the hanging body of a minor named Nazia, who worked at SP MLA Zahid Baig’s house since childhood, was found. According to information, the SP MLA and his entire family were present at home at that time. Deputy SP and SHO reached the spot at 8 am and secretly took possession of the body.
Worked for 7 years
After taking action, the police sent the dead body for post mortem. Superintendent of Police Dr. Meenakshi Katyayan said that the deceased was staying at the Sadar MLA’s house for the last 7 years and was doing all the housework. The age of the minor is said to be 17 years. During the conversation with the SP MLA and others it was learned that the deceased Nazia died last night. Last night she went to her room after finishing her household chores around 10 pm and her death was reported in the morning.
Police officials reached the spot
The news spread like wildfire throughout the district as the case was linked to the house of a Samajwadi Party MLA. The Bhadohi police swung into action in the afternoon and engaged in forensic investigations as well as other legal proceedings. Due to the high profile of the case, Superintendent of Police Dr. Meenakshi Katyayan and Vindhyachal Division Mirzapur Range Deputy Inspector General of Police RP Singh also reached the spot in the afternoon. All the officers investigated for hours. The forensic team collected all the evidence from the spot.
Police are probing all aspects
Superintendent of Police Dr. Meenakshi Katyayan said that the incident site is being inspected by Area Officer Bhadohi and the administrative team along with the local police and field unit team. The police are intensively investigating the matter. Efforts are being made to find out the causes of the incident. In the preliminary investigation, it appears to be a case of suicide. The police have formed a team to investigate the matter. The SP said that the police are busy investigating various issues.
