Assembly elections in Jharkhand are scheduled to be held later this year. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying hard to return to power in the state. Home Minister Amit Shah recently visited Ranchi, from where he started a mission for the assembly elections. Now in the meantime, information has come to light that the party will not announce a CM candidate in the state. According to sources, BJP will contest the election under collective leadership.
BJP has decided that this time BJP will also field its big and powerful leaders of the state. This includes the leaders who lost the Lok Sabha elections this time. As with the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP will announce the names of its assembly candidates in Jharkhand soon, so that the candidates get full time to campaign. Also, if there is any grassroots grievance regarding the candidate, it can be resolved in time.
Full emphasis on tribal seats
BJP will prepare a different strategy in seats dominated by Santhal, Oraon, Ho, Munda tribals. State and big state leaders coming from these castes will be fielded for election campaign in these seats. BJP will strongly raise the issue of corruption against the Hemant government.
