Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has hit out at the BJP over the Supreme Court’s comments on the provision of creamy layer in Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. He said that Constitution is the life blood of PDA, while reservation is the life blood. Let us tell you that the central government has made it clear that there is no provision for creamy layer in S-ST in the constitution. The central government has called it a remark of the Supreme Court.
Akhilesh Yadav tweeted on Sunday that the objective of any kind of reservation is to empower the neglected society. Its aim is not to divide or disintegrate society. He said that if this happens, it violates the basic principle of reservation.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP government is making arrogant statements about reservation every time. BJP attempts to undermine the fight for reservation through litigation. He said that when there is pressure from various constituent parties of the PDA, apparent sympathy is shown and then pretended to back down.
BJP’s ideology has always been anti-reservation
He said that BJP’s internal thinking has always been anti-reservation. That is why 90 percent of the PDA community is losing faith in BJP. BJP has zero credibility on reservation issue. In fact, the Constitution is like a lifeline for the PDA, so reservation is its lifeblood.
