Sanjay Nishad, Yogi Adityanath, Keshav Prasad Maurya
The results in the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha elections were not good for the BJP, making one thing clear that all is not well with the government and the organisation. The BJP working committee meeting was expected to discuss the reasons for the election defeat and discuss the issues that led the BJP to the second position in UP. In such a situation, the BJP could not find any solution through brainstorming in the working committee meeting, but an attempt to cover up its defeat by rounding up the figures was seen. In such a situation, the morale of the disgruntled BJP leaders has increased, due to which swords have been drawn between the top leaders.
Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the organization is above the government. No person or government can be bigger than an institution. He said that only when an ax is made from the branch of a big tree, that tree can be cut down. Referring to workers’ problems, he said whatever pain you (workers) are suffering is our pain too. Keshav Maurya received a standing ovation from the activists for his heartfelt speech, but his address also raised many questions.
Almost two years later, Keshav Prasad Maurya has once again described the organization as bigger than the government. Practically, Keshav’s statement is true, but in the current political scenario, this statement has given the dissidents a voice. Not only BJP leaders but also allies have started raising questions on the government’s performance.
Sanjay Nishad composed the tune
Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad met Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya at his residence on Monday morning. Sanjay Nishad also echoed this and said that the organization is bigger than the government. People want happiness, they get happiness from government. It is not wrong to say that organization is supreme because government is formed by the power of organization. He also said that by being close to the bureaucratic government, they keep paws, bicycles and elephants in their stomachs. The result of this has also been seen in the Lok Sabha elections in Ayodhya and some other places.
On the issue of reservation, Sanjay Nishad said that it is the contribution of the bureaucrats that even today this matter is stuck and the people of the Nishad community are not getting reservation. Also questioning Yogi government’s bulldozer policy, Sanjay Nishad said if you use bulldozers on the poor and demolish people’s houses, will they vote? In this way, Sanjay Nishad has opened a direct front against his government by raising questions on bureaucracy and bulldozer policies.
They are raising their own questions on the government
Before Sanjay Nishad, Apna Dal (S) President and Union Minister Anupriya Patel also raised questions. In his letter to the Chief Minister, he said that OBC, Dalit and tribal candidates are screened out in interviews for state government appointments saying they are not eligible and later these posts are declared unreserved. After this, during a program in Lucknow, Anupriya Patel said that the Modi government solved the problems of OBCs, but the Yogi government has failed. Now Anupriya Patel said in one of her interviews that BJP leaders have failed to assess the ground situation in Uttar Pradesh.
Former cabinet minister and Pratapgarh BJP leader Moti Singh said he had never seen such corruption in his 42 years of political life. We can neither think nor see such corruption in the police station. This is really incredible. The day after this statement, a video surfaced, in which BJP MLA from Badlapur seat in Jaunpur district Ramesh Mishra was seen saying that the party is currently in a very weak position. If BJP’s central leadership does not take big decisions on time, it will be difficult to form a government in 2027.
Away from Keshav Prasad Maurya Sabhas
On Monday, a day after the BJP working committee meeting concluded, BJP MLC Devendra Pratap Singh wrote a letter pointing fingers at the officials’ intentions and posed questions to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He asked why the image of your government is deteriorating day by day. When your government is praised outside Uttar Pradesh, then why are the employees protesting in the state? In this way, questions are being raised from BJP leaders to allied parties.
Keshav Prasad Maurya is distancing himself from the UP government seats after the Lok Sabha elections. Keshav Maurya did not attend the cabinet meeting twice, recently a meeting was held by CM Yogi regarding tree plantation drive, in which Keshav was also not present. On one hand, Keshav may be keeping a distance from government meetings, but on the other hand, he is meeting party leaders and ministers from Lucknow to Delhi.
