The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has targeted the Arvind Kejriwal government over the transfer of more than five thousand government teachers in Delhi. On Sunday, Delhi BJP MPs met Lt. Governor Vinay Saxena along with the Delhi School Teachers’ Association and demanded an immediate stop to these transfers. The delegation included Delhi Pradesh BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, Delhi School Teachers Association General Secretary Ajay Veer Yadav, former Delhi Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely, BJP MP Kamaljit Sehrawat and North East Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari among others.

State president Virendra Sachdeva said that the transfer of teachers is completely wrong. This government is using teachers as event managers. There is a need to make a policy regarding the transfer of teachers. Lt Governor should intervene in this matter.

After the meeting, MP Manoj Tiwari said that 5006 teachers of Delhi are transferred at 1:30 pm. This is a malicious decision of the AAP government, which they oppose. Our demand is with the Lt. Governor that the transfer be stopped.

Manoj Tiwari demanded a ban on the transfer

He said many teachers have lodged complaints. We demand that the transfer be banned immediately. There should be a policy of transfer, but till date this government does not have any such policy. Teachers have been transferred arbitrarily.

At the same time, BJP MP Kamaljit Sehrawat said that the Delhi government issues transfer orders at 1:00 pm and more than 5 thousand teachers are transferred. Transferring in any department is not a big deal, but transferring such a large number of teachers without any policy raises serious doubts.

Demanded to make a transfer policy

He said that we have come here with a delegation, we have put our demand before the LG that we have no problem with the transfer, but the transfer should be done according to the rules and he has given a positive indication that he will look into it. matter

BJP leader Arvinder Singh Lovely said that various teachers unions approached me and BJP MPs. We united and sought time from the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. The teachers felt that politics was being played with them. We requested the Lt Governor of Delhi to intervene. There should be a comprehensive policy on transfer of teachers.

Atishi’s big statement on the transfer

On the other hand, Delhi Education Minister Atishi has alleged that BJP has transferred 5000 teachers of Delhi with the help of LG. These teachers were transferred because these teachers along with Arvind Kejriwal have transformed the schools of Delhi.

He said that on the day the order came, it was promised that Arvind Kejriwal’s government would not allow any harm to Delhi’s schools. They would continue to fight for Delhi schools and finally the BJP and LG had to withdraw the transfer of five thousand teachers. This is a victory for the people of Delhi. The BJP has learned that if it tries to damage Delhi’s schools, it will face fierce opposition.
