A derailed train engine
A train engine derailed in the railway yard of Bihar’s Gaya Junction station on Saturday, causing a ruckus. However, fortunately there was no casualty in this incident. Officials said that during shunting (moving from one track to another), one of the front wheels of the engine derailed. A major accident was avoided as there was no coach in the engine at that time.
Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, said that the engine derailed without any compartment at the Gaya Junction railway station yard on Saturday morning. He said that since the derailment took place in the yard, there was no impact on the movement of other trains. The official said that after the derailment, the mechanical and other technical staff immediately took the engine back to its place i.e. on the track.
The coupling of the freight train broke
Meanwhile, Chandra also said that the coupling of a goods train was broken near Paharpur railway station of Gaya division last Friday. This freight train was coming from Kodarma. He said that the incident took place around 10 pm. However, there were no casualties or casualties during this time. Chandra said that repairs including coupling of the goods train were completed and the train departed at 10.48 hrs.

It is being told that the freight train was passing through Pahadpur station at a speed of 70 kilometers per hour. In the meantime, the incident took place, due to which the freight train split into two parts.
