Magadha Express
A major accident took place in Buxar on Sunday with the Magadh Express train going from Delhi to Islampur. The coupling suddenly broke between Raghunathpur and Tudiganj stations and the train split into two. Because of this, the engine was far ahead of the rest of the coaches, except for a few coaches at the back. However, when Loko Pilot came to know about this, he informed the higher officials of the Railways. After this many senior officials reached the spot and efforts are being made to rectify the defects and send the train forward.
There is no news of any loss of life or property in this accident. According to railway officials, the accident took place on the Buxar-DDU Patna railway section. At that time Down Magadh Express was going from Raghunathpur station to Tudiganj and the accident took place. According to officials, the train’s next stop was Patna. Panic spread among the passengers sitting in the back bogie after the accident. Fortunately, these bogies, after running on the track for some distance, stopped a short distance ahead.
