A shocking case of traffic challan has come to light in Bihar. Bikes with fake number plates are running recklessly in the city, putting dust in the eyes of the police. The e-challan of a bike parked at a house in Chiknauta Yusufpur in Hajipur was deducted in Mithanpura in Muzaffarpur. When the bike owner received a message of currency on his mobile, he was stunned. The owner was shocked when the photo of the bike came in Challan’s message as his bike number was also used on another bike.

Bike owner Sujit Kumar, a resident of Chiknauta Yusufpur, Hajipur in Vaishali district, has now applied to the traffic DSP, demanding an investigation. Sujeet, the owner of the bike, said that till date he has never been to Muzaffarpur by bike. Whenever we go to Muzaffarpur we come by train or bus. Sujith has written a complaint to the Traffic DSP regarding this.

Youth troubled by fake currency

Informing about this, Sujeet said that I use my bike in Hajipur Vaishali. The bike has a high security number plate. While last August, I was issued an e-challan for riding a bike with triple loading without a helmet in Muzaffarpur. A fine of Rs 1000 has been imposed on each for this. Challan’s message came on 17th September.

Using someone else’s car number

Sujith has reported this to Traffic DSP Nilabh Krishna. Sujeet said that his bike has a high security number plate. Bikes with the same number are being run and challan issued in Muzaffarpur as well. I have received a currency message on my mobile number. Sujith said that the picture posted on the Challan link shows a bike with a normal number plate. The number of the vehicle for which the challan has been issued is the same as my bike. Sujeet said, “Criminals are running away by putting my bike number on the stolen bike. Sujith fears that bikes with fake number plates could be used in criminal activities.

Traffic DSP Nilabh Krishna said that an investigation is being conducted based on the application. If the bike with the said number plate is found again, the concerned police station has been instructed to inform and arrest it.
