In the murder case, Araria SP Amit Ranjan said that Bhavesh Yadav and his associate Rajnish Yadav were shot dead in a gang war between criminals in Raniganj’s Belsara village. In August 2023, the same criminal shot and killed journalist Vimal Yadav. Journalist Vimal Yadav’s brother was also killed by Bhavesh Yadav. Journalist Vimal Kumar, a witness in the same murder case, was repeatedly threatened by the perpetrator for not testifying. But the journalist was shot dead before he could testify.
