Motihari police nabbed a prisoner from the forest behind the court.

Two prisoners escaped from a civil court in Bihar’s Motihari district. Both the prisoners were in jail. The inmates first cut the grill with the help of a blade and later attached the pot and descended from the second floor. The police were shocked when they got the information about the escape of the prisoners. The police immediately started searching for the two prisoners. Police arrested one of them from the forest behind the court. At the same time, another prisoner is yet to be found. There have been several incidents of prisoners escaping from Hajat in the past, but the police have learned nothing from previous incidents.

This incident happened last Thursday. An atmosphere of commotion was created in the civil court of Motihari district in the afternoon. Meanwhile, information was received from Hajat that two prisoners had escaped. When the police reached the spot and saw the situation, the soldiers were shocked. The prisoners cut the iron bars of the hajat. After that, after attaching towels, they came down from the second floor behind the court, then jumped over the broken boundary wall and escaped. Police officials were immediately informed about the escape of the prisoners.

The police caught a prisoner from the forest

The police started searching for both the prisoners. Meanwhile, the police come to know that a prisoner is hiding in the forest behind the court. The police immediately launched a search operation in the forest to nab the prisoner and arrested him. The other inmate is still on the run from the police. His search is on. The arrested prisoner’s name is Arun Sahni. The absconding prisoner’s name is Arvind Thakur. According to information, Arvind Thakur was in jail since 2022 in a murder case. When Arun went to jail in an assault case.

During the investigation of the case, the police found that the constable who brought the prisoners had given them a hacksaw blade for Rs 20, so that they could easily cut the grill and escape. ASP Shikhar Chaudhary also admitted the constable’s involvement in the escape of the prisoners. The ASP said departmental action would be taken against the accused constable. Also, the city police station has registered a case and taken further action.
