Bihar: Girl kidnapped, then gang-raped… 4 days of brutality, victim’s mother petitions SSP for justice

A sensational case has come to light in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur. Three criminals abducted a girl and gang-raped her in the Kanti Police Station area here. Two of the accused are sons of retired watchmen. Apart from this, there is another youth. The trio gang-raped the girl for four days and then brought her to Kanti and left her. The victim’s mother has complained to the SSP against the trio.

The victim’s mother has petitioned SSP Rakesh Kumar and accused the Kanti police of not conducting a medical examination of her daughter. According to the mother, she was going to cut wood with her daughter. Then the trio came from Scorpio and pushed it and fell down. After which they forcibly put the daughter in the car and fled. She kept looking for her daughter in the surrounding area, but not finding her, she filed a kidnapping complaint at the Kanti police station, naming the former watchman’s two sons and a driver.

The victim’s mother made the allegations

The victim’s mother alleged that instead of arresting the accused, the police from Kanti police station started beating him up. The police registered an FIR three days later. After registering the FIR, the accused left the girl in Kanti. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the girl out. The girl tearfully narrated her entire ordeal to her mother. The police have recorded the statement of the victim in the court under section 164.

The family panicked

The victim’s mother said that Sonu Ram, Shatrughan Ram and Rajesh Prasad are repeatedly threatening to withdraw the case. The whole family is in panic. The victim approached SSP Rakesh Kumar and pleaded for justice. Sanjeev Kumar Singh, in-charge of Kanti police station, said that an FIR has been registered after receiving the application. After recording her statement in the court, the victim has been sent for medical examination. The victim was previously unprepared for medical treatment. Now he is ready for medical again. Strict action will be taken against the accused after investigation.
