DGP SK Singhal has been found guilty

Former Bihar DGP SK Singhal has been found guilty by the EOU in the paper leak case of constable recruitment examination in Bihar. After an investigation, the EOU has found Singhal guilty and recommended action against him. After this, the difficulties of the DGP and the then President are going to increase.

EOU ADG Nayyar Khan has sent a letter to DGP in this regard. The charge sheet filed by IOYU in the court has said a big thing. It is being said that SK Singhal, the former DGP of Bihar and the then Chairman of Central Selection Board, Constable Recruitment, has taken huge amount of money to leak the paper. This money is taken as commission from the printing press owner. This has been fully mentioned in the charge sheet filed by IOU in court.

The paper was leaked before the exam started

On October 1, 2023, the exam was held for the restoration of more than 21 thousand posts of constables in the state. His question paper went viral even before the exam started. A 22-member SIT headed by EOU DIG Manavjit Singh Dhillon was constituted on 31 October 2023 to probe the entire matter. S.K. Singhal awarded the contract to print the question paper to ‘Caltex Multiventure’, a one-room printing press, for 10% commission, without any physical verification. EOU has already questioned SK Singhal in this regard.

EOU is not satisfied with DGP’s reply

EOU is not satisfied with Singhal’s reply. Apart from this, Blessing Sexure Director Kaushik Kar and Caltex Director Saurabh Bandopadhyay admitted in their statement that the advertisement for the recruitment of Prohibition Constable in 2022 was released. Both then met the then President. The contract was awarded to Caltex Company on the condition that we have to pay 10% commission. The commission amount was given at the back gate of the DGP bungalow. The then president signed a one-year contract with Caltex.
