Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday inaugurated and laid foundation stones of several schemes in Jehanabad district. The Chief Minister launched schemes worth 57 crore 14 lakh 59 thousand rupees. He also laid the foundation stone of schemes worth 65 crore 62 lakh four thousand rupees. Along with this he inaugurated a new panchayat building in a village of Jehanabad.
The Chief Minister inspected the Patna-Gaya-Dobhi link road connecting NH-30 and NH-83 from Patna to Jehanabad. After reviewing the matter, the Chief Minister directed to complete the work at full speed. After this, the Chief Minister held a review meeting on NH-83 and reviewed the work with all the officials.
Prepare NH-83 in two months
In this meeting, the officials said that work is being done to complete the remaining work quickly. Meanwhile, he said that when this road is constructed, the distance from Patna to Dobhi can be covered in just two hours. The CM told the meeting that the rest of the work should be completed in two months. The construction of this road will save a lot of time for people to reach Dobhi from Patna. Apart from this, people’s time will also be saved in reaching Jharkhand.
Inauguration of Panchayat Government Building
After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated and inspected the new panchayat government building complex constructed at Kalpa village in Jehanabad. The Chief Minister also took complete information of the related arrangements. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of several departmental schemes at the Panchayat Government Building complex.
11 Foundation laying of Police Building
Along with this, the Chief Minister under the Home Department has allocated Rs. Inaugurated the new Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes cum Women Police Station building constructed at a cost of Rs.4.70 crores. Chief Minister in Jehanabad district Rs. 15.55 crores laid the foundation stone of 11 police buildings including 150 women constable barracks, prosecution building, regional district probation office building.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also inspected the stalls set up by several departments. Also, the Chief Minister presented checks to the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Udyami Yojana. Glasses were also distributed to the elderly under the Ujjwal Drishti Yojana. The Chief Minister gave a token check totaling 5 lakh 21 thousand rupees to many students under Ayushman Bharat Card, Bihar Vidyarthi Credit Card Scheme.
50 farmers under watershed development scheme under land conservation Rs. 25 lakh token checks and 5,573 Livelihood Self Help Groups Rs. 45 crore 26 lakh token checks were given. After this, the Chief Minister also inspected a lake in Kalpa village and gave instructions for better tree plantation along the banks of the lake.
