Three killed in road accident in Sasaram
A horrible road accident has taken place in Sasaram, Bihar. A bus hit a truck parked on the National Highway here in Sabarabad. 3 people died and 15 people were injured in this accident. Eight women are also among the injured. All the injured have been admitted to Sadar Hospital in Sasaram for treatment. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
The police said that the victims of the accident are residents of Rajasthan. These people were going to Bodhgaya by bus from Kotra village of Jalwar, Rajasthan to donate. Meanwhile, the bus collided with a truck standing on the side of the road. The collision was so violent that three people traveling in the bus, Govardhan Singh, Rajendra Singh and Bala Singh, were killed, while 15 people were injured. The accident happened on Sunday night.
The injured were admitted to Sadar Hospital
All the three deceased are related. After the incident, the police officers reached the spot. Dr. Sadar Hospital, Sasaram. Utpal Kant said the condition of five of the injured was critical, due to which they were referred to a higher center for treatment. The rest of the injured are being treated at Sadar Hospital.
The bus was heavily damaged in the accident
The bus has been heavily damaged after the collision. Vehicle parts were scattered on the road. Crowds of people gathered at the spot following the accident. It was the pedestrians who informed the police. An eyewitness said people from the bus were shouting for help. Those who sustained minor injuries got out of the bus on their own. Police said that information has been sent to the family members of the deceased. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
